In class we were given a long poem and had to compare a part of it to a song.So in one part of the poem it says"The Soldier armed with gun and sword palsied strikes the summer sun".This reminded me of the song Strawberry Fields Forever by John Lennon from the band The Beatles.It reminded me of this song because when John Lennon was a kid he use to play in a filed called strawberry fields which was right by a salvation army building.So since it was talking about a soldier it made me think of how John used to play in that filed and how it was the inspiration for the song.
